Flashback Friday

Super Cat - Dolly My Baby

GS BOYZ - STANKY LEG

I saw this on Dj.b’s blog and frankly I’m not bloody impressed, the novelty is REALLY starting to wear thin. This actually makes me cringe. With that in mind stats don’t lie, so I’m worried, REALLY worried...

** #1 video on BET’s 106 & Park **
** Performing on BET’s: Rip The Runway (airing 3/2)**
** #19 on MTV2 Network **
** 30,000 in combined Digital and Mobile Sales (TW) **
** Over 2,460 spins this week (+233) **
** #28* on the Billboard R&B Singles Chart **
** #13* on the Billboard Rap Songs Chart**
**Fans recorded over 12,000 voicemails on the Official Stanky Legg Hotline**
** Over 15 million streams online **

For those who don’t get some of those stats…that’s pretty F’ing big. Is every big hip hop/grime/electro/funky tune going to have a silly dance to accompany it now??? Come on... Stanky leg??? They have taken it too far now. What a bunch of Bullsh*t! This is indeed Soulja Boy all over again. For f*cks sake...

N.B - Their crew is called Swagg team... hmmm.... I was told as a child if I have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all... No comment

Busta Rhymes - Arab Money (Remix)

Feat. Diddy, Ron Browz, Swizz Beatz, Akon, & Lil Wayne, doing the damn thing!

YOU, ME & WE

YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND MY LIFE, HOW AND WHAT I SEE,
YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME, SEE HOW WE SEE,
WHICH IN ITSELF, IS AN INSULT TO WE,
THE RECENT CHANGES DO NOT EXCUSE YOUR HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF INEQUITY,
MY LIFE IS MY LIFE, AND I WOULD BE A FOOL TO THINK, ‘MAYBE,
WE ARE SEEN EQUALLY.

NOW WE FIND OURSELVES IN UNCHARTED TERRITORIES,
WITH THE HOPE OF REAL POSSIBILITY, THE WAY FORWARD WILL BE PARITY.
I DO BELIEVE THROUGH HARD WORK AND PERSEVERENCE, WE WILL ACHIEVE,
BUT UNTIL THEN, YOU DO WHAT YOU DO, AND WE’LL BE WHO WE’LL BE,
BUT PLEASE,
DO NOT INSULT ME FURTHER, AND THINK YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND WE...

Tuesday's Tracks

This one got into the week’s Tuesday’s Track’s for the video alone! I think the technology used is nothing short of amazing. The tune is BIG on its own and I have to give credit where it’s due. Originally I wasn’t sold on Kanye West’s album “808’s and Heartbreak”, but now I like pretty much every track on the album, so if you haven’t already got it, you need to go out and cop that! Unfortunately the word is that this won’t be released as a proper video because someone else has used the technology, which in my opinion is a REAL BLOODY SHAME!

Being an early champion of Lady Gaga my next track is her latest release. The part of the video where they’re on the subway really reminds me of the 1979 film ‘The Warriors’.

Lady Gaga – Lovegame

Now this one get's a place for comedy value alone, it’s absolutely hilarious! Watch out for Justin Timberlake’s cameo appearance as the shop cleaner.

The Lonely Island – Jizz in My Pants

Transformers 2

The first Transformers film is probably my favourite cartoon to feature length film adaptation. And finally the makers have released a trailer long enough for me to really get excited about. I can’t wait!!! Being an original Transformers fan, there is absolutely no doubt that I will go and see this one at the cinema.

Lunch Teef Deterrent

I think im one of the lucky ones that have never had any of my sarnies stolen from the fridge at work. I think it might have something to do with my colleagues knowing how id react to not seeing my Jerk Chicken in Hard Dough Bread sandwich...it wouldn’t be a pretty site! For those of you that have fallen foul to those light fingered sarnie snatchers you need not worry as this might just be your saviour.

As you can see these anti - theft lunch bags make the lunch teef think that you had forgotten about that nice home made club sarnie you made last week which resulted in mold growth!

Seems like a good idea in the short term but i can only imagine people looking at you funny when your for ever taking out the mould sarnie and walking to your desk! I sense an email from the Office Manager about food hygiene coming on!!

Supra NS 2009

Pictures of the latest additions to Supra's NS range have surfaced. The range consists of their Skytop, Strapped, and Trinity. With the Skytop last year getting a lot of attention, possibly as they where your favourite Rappers supra of choice, i think the Trinity are also pretty cool and should also do well from these packs.

I've got my eyes on this Grey pack!

Hustlin 'Ard: A True Story. Chapter One

Have you been looking for a new, exciting online storybook to read whilst you visit your favourite blog? Well look no further! Presenting ‘Hustlin ‘Ard: A True Story’. Read it and weep.
(As usual, cos I’m so nice, I’m always welcome to suggestions/feedback...just send us a message!)

Hustlin ‘Ard: A True Story
Chapter One: Dreams

'Where’s my lens cover man, for f*ck’s sake!’ Nick yelled as rummaged through his bed sheets.
His room was always a mess, which didn’t help in situations such as this. Nick Benson was born on the 2nd January 1987, and was a dreamer. He dreamt all day, and all night, for things that were absent in his life. He dreamt of his future, and changes he wished he could have made to his past. Visions of his life ten years from now were a constant reminder of the things he needed to fulfil, and all this dreaming was preventing his room from ever being tidy again.

‘Oh, there it is,’ he whispered, as his mum ran up the stairs with a scowl on her face.
‘Nick, why are you always losing things in this room?’ She shouted. ‘If it’s not your lens case, it’s your phone. If it’s not that, it’s your keys. I tell you, one of these days you’re gonna have to sort this room out. And I’m not doing it for you. I do everything in this house.’

Nick noticed the sound of his mum’s voice begin to fade as he ignored her, and ran down the stairs. He quickly buttered his toast, picked up his camera, his keys, and his folder (which his mother had left in a neat pile on the kitchen worktop), and shouted ‘Bye Mum, Love ya!’ up the stairs. She had barely responded when he ran out of the house, slamming the front door behind him.

Nick looked down at his feet as he walked up to Streatham High Road, and couldn’t stop thinking how fresh his new Reebok Omni Lites looked with each step.
‘These trainers are SICK!’ He thought to himself. He took extreme pride in his appearance. His hair was always cut, his jeans new, and his trainers had to be the latest edition. He arrived at the bus stop and noticed a pretty girl standing with a guy, who seemed to be her boyfriend. As they held hands, she turned around, and looked at Nick.

‘I must be looking nice today, man!’ He muttered. It was always a confidence boost to get the eyes from young ladies, he thought, especially at 8.30am. As the 109 bus arrived and everyone got on, he couldn’t stop thinking how well she would photograph, and was just thinking of backdrops and light settings when his phone rang.
‘Nick, are you there yet?’ said a loud voice down the phone.
‘Nah, I’ll be there soon though, just on the bus. Did you finish that project?’ Nick asked.
‘Err, No! When do I ever finish photography projects, man! I’m doing it in my own time, as and how I feel like it,’ the voice replied. It was Sean, one of Nick’s university buddies, who was extremely lazy, and rarely completed any of his coursework.

‘Sean you’re a joker. You know I did mine though innit! And I have to say, it looks bloody great.’ Nick smiled as he opened his folder and glanced through his latest photography project. He knew he deserved a 1st for it, or at least a 2:1, as his talent was undeniable. But there was a certain lecturer at Uni who just wouldn’t give him the credit owed to him. However, the frustration of receiving these lower, undeserved grades only spurred him on.

‘Bruv, I’ll be there in ten, yeah?’ Nick said, ending the phone call as his reception cut out. The bus was nearing central London, and he noticed a black Mercedes drive past as he looked out of the window. He smiled to himself, as he saw that the driver looked young, in fact, a similar age to him. But he couldn’t help feeling that he wanted a better life for himself. He knew it was out there. He had dreamed of taking care of his mum; paying off her debts, providing the financial and physical security he had always strove to.

‘I should be doing more than this at twenty-two,’ he thought. He remembered the internship application he had made a couple of months ago. Nick never mentioned this application to anyone; it was a complete secret, and always would be, if he wasn’t successful. Just the thought of it made him anxious. He closed his eyes as the sun broke out from behind the clouds, thinking of the possible opportunities it could bring him, and his mum. Sighing deeply, he picked up his stuff and got off the bus.

Whats the internship Nick applied for? Will he be able to take care of his mum, and have long-lasting success? Find out in Chapter 2 of Hustlin 'Ard: A True Story!

Hustle ‘Ard Heroes

Hey guys and girls! Its been a while! One of the new things I’m gonna be doing each month is presenting a ‘Hustle ‘Ard Hero’. This person will be someone who I believe has determination, perseverance, an excellent work ethic, talent, and most importantly...Swagger! No, just kidding... I actually think all these factors contribute equally to making the perfect Hustle ‘Ard Hero. So, I hope you enjoy this new piece; if any of you disagree with anything I’ve posted, or have someone you wish to add, shot me a holler, don!

February’s Hustle ‘Ard Hero: Teairra Mari

Okay so for all of you who don’t know, Teairra Mari was the singer/songwriter who Jay Z signed as ‘The Princess of Def Jam’, and this was one of his initial collaboration projects after being made president of Def Jam Records. He also signed successful artists Rihanna and Neo around the same time, and the trio were known as Jay Z’s lethal weapons; they were seen everywhere with the mogul, from award shows, to designer shops, to club nights. Here’s a picture of the ‘then’ budding artists with Jay Z and L.A Reid:

Teairra’s first release was ‘Make Her Feel Good’, a catchy hip hop/R’n’B single which, surprisingly, only got to number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. I remember this song and thought it was really good, I used to sing along to it all the time...Both Teairra and Rihanna are the same age as me, so I would always pay attention to their progress. But shortly after this, their paths seemed to deviate...Here’s a video of Teairra performing at Jay Z’s Rocawear Fashion Show a few years back. Well four to be precise:

From this, I think she was a good enough artist! She seems happy and driven, has good stage presence, a great voice, and you get the feeling that she really wants to be there. This, I think, was nothing different from the feelings and talent shown by Rihanna...I did feel, however, that Teairra sung about more mature topics than Rihanna (the title of her first single says it all!) whilst Rihanna played on the younger crowd’s interest with more fun and innocent tracks. After this single I remember finding Teairra’s music increasingly difficult to find, it was as if she had literally disappeared into thin air! I found out that Jay Z had dropped Teairra from Def Jam Records, with ‘no apparent reason’...

Rap Up TV presents Teairra Mari: Then & Now

I can’t even BEGIN to imagine how difficult this must have been for the girl. Not only was she dropped from a major record label with no explanation, but she had to face the idea of Rihanna and Neo moving on to stardom and success without her. Personally, I think I’d be devastated. But I guess she used that time to focus and centre herself. She’s now signed to ‘Fo’ Reel Records’, and is working with Cudda Love, who was the person responsible for Nelly’s initial success.

Clutch Magazine wrote ‘Ultimately, Teairra Mari has emerged with renewed strength and inspiration...Teairra is all grown up and in control as she moves beyond the lessons of the past and realises her potential in the present’. I think this sums it up...To be fair, she was really young when she was signed to Def Jam; I’m sure that now, her past experiences will help her to make better decisions.

To me, Teairra has showed extreme dedication and perseverance, and has basically ‘hustled’ her way back to stronger position, with all odds against her. To know that you had worked with the best, and fell from grace, could be a huge detriment to your self-confidence; but she seems to have bounced back even stronger. She definitely deserves to be a Hustle ‘Ard Hero. Here’s her new video:

Mixtape Of The Year?

I've had Drake's latest mixtape 'So Far Gone' for a while now but have only just got round to playing it. After listening I'd agree with DJ Semtex and say that this is better than some artists albums! A very solid mixtape and possibly the mixtape of the year so far.

Is this 09's benchmark?

According to reports Alexandra Burke has signed a £3million five-album record deal with Epic which is an arm of Sony. The deal will see her launched in America by the same team behind the international success of Beyoncé and Rihanna. X-factor judge Simon Cowell who managed Leona Lewis's US launch, helping her become the first British woman in 20 years to top the Billboard chart with her song Bleeding Lovewill also be involved in the deal.

The deal follows a record-breaking start to Burke's singing career. Her version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah became the fastest-selling single ever by a female artist and remained at No 1 for three weeks in the UK charts. These day’s record deals of the size are few and far between, so well done Alex, ‘Your Hustling Ard’!

Flashback Fridays

Its Valentines weekend so i thought it was only right to pick a nice Rare Groove tune to get people in the mood!

I grew up hearing Rare Groove in the house because of my big sis and always get into a zone in a dance when the drop a few tunes! There's been plenty times I'm on my way to pick the Fam prior to going out and I'm listening to rare groove and have to change the folder on my MP3 player before they get in (always get cussed for listening to old tunes. Many call me Grandad because of it)!

Vans Vault 09 Fall/Winter “Peacoat” Chukka's

Why do Vans keep doing this to me? Nah, seriously! If I had a pound for the amount of times I told people not to sleep on the 08/09 Vans Vault collection...er...yeah, i'd have a lot of money!

Vans don’t disappoint again with its Peacoat inspired Chukka. Loving the inclusion of a button which with the Melton Wool upper both illustrate reference to its inspiration. Definitely another must have for me when the chilly season lands.

Hold on, does the chilly season ever go?

Lambo Heels

Super Car manufactures Ferrari and Lamborghini have always given us more products than just their high performance vehicles with the branded Coffee Makers, Bluetooth Earpieces and Perfumes to name a few. These Lamborghini Gallardo inspired stilettos features carbon fibre heels and brake lights. I'm pretty sure the lights do not work though!

Ladies, what you saying on these then?

No Your Not! Stop Lying...

The search engine giant Google have recently added a new feature to Google Maps called Latitude which allows you to share your current location with friends and family. Google hopes that Latitude will help people find each other while out and about to 'keep track' of loved ones!
Latitude uses Google's technology to judge a user's location not only by using satellite GPS, but also by the proximity to mobile phone towers and wireless networks. For those in a relationship, in short, you cant hide from each other once you've both signed up!

Actually thats not true. You can select fellow Latitude members that make up your close-knit circle of friends and family with whom you'd be me than willing to share your exact location details. Then theres those acquaintances that you only wish to share your Town/City level detail with.

There is something to remember here. Your partner is obviously gonna be in the first group, knowing your exact location. When they jump onto Latitude to see that it doesnt say that your in Brockley or New Cross and now states that your in London..."Oh no he didn't"! Just thought i would pass that one on! My take on this is to make sure your aware what your signing up for . This is a mobile police tag for those in relationships! For those 09 'Playa's', you've be warned!

I actually like the capabilities of Latitude. Theres scope for this to have a heart warming affect on a long distance relationship! Imagine your partner being away for months on business and not being able to be with you for Valentines Day. You could virtually plonk yourself next to them on the map! I think thats sweet!

'Your Snow Sculpture Games Weak Son'!

I made it clear in my recent flash back friday that i was tired of the recent snow we received and although i did make a snow man, my song of choice made it clear that i wanted some sun...5 days on, no sun!

Anyway, i came across a few snaps from the 60th Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan. In short, they make any snowman that ANYBODY made in this country look moist!

Moist!!!

The Beat 'Em Ups of all Beat 'Em Ups!!

Street Fighter is the best beat 'em up...standard!

I remember hating disliking my older cousins for never letting me play Street Fighter II when it came out on the Super Nintendo. I still kinda resent them for initially only allowing me to play if i was E Honda or Zangief as they where mad slow and pretty whack!

One day i decided to take all the dead legs and chinese burns from my cousins for forever 'making them get killed by M Bison' (whatever) as i was sure that after all the hours of watching them master Ryu and Ken's moves, i could give them a run for their money. Given my chance, I made sure 'ran up'! I now had their respect and was now able to play alongside them and their boys. I was 8 and i felt like a bad man! Since then Street Fighter has been my beat 'em up of choice and I'll defend the game till the end against all those Tekken fans!

I dont often wait up till the early hours on friday mornings to cop the latest release from my local 24 hr Asda's unless its to get Pro Evo or Call of Duty but the following opening sequence has made me reconsider that!

Tuesday's Tracks

I’ve found myself humming this one regularly over the past few weeks. However in the performance at the Grammy’s T.I’s timing was out at the beginning, I think this may be due to a bit of over excitement on his behalf with the Grammy's being his final performance before his imprisonment.

T.I. feat. Justin Timberlake - Dead and Gone

The second track we’re keeping distinctly UK. I’ve been shouting about La Roux for a while, but this remix from dub step dj/producer Skream is way better than the original.

La Roux - In For The Kill (Skream Remix)

Puma Roma Fader

Based on the classic trainer that was popular back in the 60’s, Puma has re-released the Roma Fader trainer in two new colourways, I’ve always been partial to the Puma Roma’s and these are no different. Using gradient colours, the new trainers come right in time with the arrival of spring. Personally I wouldn’t be lacing my kicks up like that, but I love the flavor!

MIA performs on due date?

I was talking to Phanz about this the other day...MIA performed at the Grammy's alongside her 'Swagga Like Us' co-stars Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and of course T.I. I just think...wasn't she scared her waters would drop at any second? However, I totally understand the fact that she still went through with it. As an aspiring artist myself, I think I'd probably have to be dragged out of the concert hall by my family/friends if I had the chance to perform at THE GRAMMYs alongside people like JAY Z! It just shows how much it meant to her. Here's the video. By the way, I'm loving Kanye's new hairstlye! Its like a mohecan with a long bit at the back, but I think it looks so cute!

Flashback Fridays

I chose this song for this weeks flash back as I've now grown tired of this weeks weather! Dont get me wrong, i like the snow. I made a snowman, peppered my niece with snowballs & on Monday night went for a late night walk in the snow but i feel that its great fun for a day or so but when your pavement is still an ice rink 5 days after the intial event and you've been taking Salt from work to grit your drive...its begins to feel like a bit of a joke ting!

Im sure I'm not the only one that feels this way so with the help of Roy Ayers hopefully we'll see change soon!

Just What The Dr. Ordered...

If you haven't already noticed, i like clothes...in a big way! I often nightly find myself scouring the internet looking for new clothes to cop. Whats annoyed me recently is that i constantly find myslef looking at stuff i cant afford and tonight was no different!

I came across a designer named Darren Romanelli aka Dr Romanelli. After seeing the Nike Swoosh on the garment a looked down at the price and i nearly fell of my chair...nah, i seriously nearly dropped my Mango Rubicon (would have been pissed) over my keyboard and fell on the floor for true !

The dudes recyled/reconstructed Nike garments are currently fetching between £1498 - £1640 as he reserects old pieces and injects life into them with the addition of leather panels and trims.

If the credit crunch means nothing to you, take a peek and 'add to basket'!

N.E.R.D To Headline UK Festival

N.E.R.D are set to headline the Relentless NASS festival in Somerset, which takes place from July 10th-12th.

A friend of mine who is working on the project told me a while back that it was in the pipeline, but now it’s 100% confirmed. The event is expected to be one of the collective's only UK appearances this year.

The festival, which takes place on The Bath & West Showground, will feature its own skate park, while additional acts performing at this year's event are expected to be announced soon.

What do you know about Tecktonik???

Tecktonik is a form of dance that caught my eye a while back. It’s a mixture of techno and old school breakdancing. It was born in France and has spread through mainland Europe and now other parts of the world through word of mouth and video sharing sites like wild fire. With the rise of electro and dirty house, I predict it won’t be too long until we see the Tecktonik craze of flailing arms and quick foot movements take the UK shores.

Christian Bale Goes American Psycho

Now this is an outburst if ever I heard one... Christian Bale directs he’s fury reminiscent of an American Psycho at the Director of Photography on the set of the up and coming film Terminator Salvation. I understand that you want to focus on your scene, but i think that Christian takes it a little over board to say the least.

In other film news the trailer is out for the film Bronson. The film is about Michael Gordon Peterson aka Charles Bronson, who was initially put in prison in 1974 and, with only three months spent outside ever since. To date he's served over thirty-four years, a figure you can see increasing on the official film site.

The reason he's served so much time is because he's a rather violent prisoner, and he last received a life sentence for hostage taking. Amazingly he's spent some twenty-eight years of his sentence in solitary confinement.

BAFTA Rising Star: Noel Clarke

Noel Clarke is one of the names up for the Orange BAFTA Rising Star Award, and it's not just for his acting but his overall film work, for he has written and directed films that he's starred in, and appeared on Doctor Who for a number of episodes. Despite most recognising him for Doctor Who, his talent has been applied to Kidulthood and Adulthood and a number of television appearances. The Orange British Academy Film Awards, aka the BAFTA's, have an award where the public can vote for the winner, not some panel of film insiders but the audience, and this year there's a great selection up for the award, Noel Clarke being one of them.

Clarke starred in Doctor Who as Mickey Smith, and so his rise began. Perhaps that's what gave him the leverage to push forward the film he wrote Kidulthood. His television career continued, mainly with the Doctor, but it was when he had the chance to add a sequel to Kidulthood and did so rather remarkably by writing and directing the film Adulthood.

Not only has he appeared for three years in one of the BBC's flagship television series that gains worldwide audiences, but he's written one film then wrote and directed its sequel within two years of each other. Now that's pretty impressive, Noel your 'Hustlin Ard'!

It's curious to see where his career is going, but there's a definite feel that he's keeping it very British and will continue to develop his own projects. I think it's a testament to his talent that he has already gained writer and director credits for critically acclaimed feature films. He's well deserving of the nomination for the Orange BAFTA Rising Star Award, and i for one will be hoping he wins.

You can vote for Noel Clarke for the Orange Rising Star Award at this year’s BAFTA’s by clicking here

Tuesday's Tracks

Jazmine Sullivan - Lions, Tigers, & Bears

Certain members of the family tree have been banging this one for a hot minute. One of the biggest RnB tunes of 2008 has finally seen the video released.

Ghetts - Sing for Me (Remix)

I was loving this one from the first time I heard the snippet at the end of the original. I’m thinking Ghetts might well have a big year. Personally i’ve been a fan for a while and this one should be a banger!

Festival Season

Before the line up has been announced, tickets for the Glastonbury festival have sold out. The news means that the 'Glasto' is back to its renowned form with tickets selling out many months in advance. The last tickets went yesterday after they were briefly put on sale following the end of the successful deposit scheme.

A second release of tickets will be available from 9am on Sunday 5th April 2009, although in order to do so you must have registered beforehand to be eligible to buy a ticket. But it's unlikely that there will be a huge number of tickets available on that day and will be priced at £175 (plus a booking fee of £5).

However the Somerset event, which takes place from June 26th-28th, is not the only MUST in the music festival calendar. Other mainstays include; V Festival, Reading and Leeds, O2 Wireless, Bestival, Latitude, Love Box, The Big Chill, Global Gathering, and The Isle of Wight. These tickets either go on sale in the next couple of months or are on sale now. I’d definitely recommend the experience.

I've been tossing and turning in my bed for what seems to be forever and i just couldn't seem to drift off so i just thought F**k it and got up, picked up my camera and took these...at 5:38am!

Coby & Chris are Doin' It Big!

Hey Guys!

I’ve been gone for a minute...but I’m back now! No seriously, I apologise for the delay in my post but everything’s okay again...because Colby O’Donis is here!

Who’s Colby O’Donis I hear you ask? Well if you didn’t know, he’s the 19 year old RnB singer-songwriter that music mogul Akon has managed to lock in his case of artists, signed under the label ‘Kon Live’. I was extremely surprised to hear how old this guy actually was, as his talent seems so mature and his voice is technically sound.

Colby hasn’t just popped up from nowhere though. At the age of nine he worked with the hit-makers responsible for Backstreet Boys, N*Sync and Britney Spears to name a few, developing his craft and homing in on his song-writing ability. He was even asked to sign a record deal with Babyface’s label at the tender age of 15!

To cut a long story short, this guy has done so much in so little time it amazes me...supporting artists such as JoJo, Brian McKnight and N*Sync...collaborating with Justin Timberlake...he even worked with Michael Jackson in the legend’s own studio, releasing the single ‘Your Love in My Life’...What more can I say? As soon as I heard his voice early last year, I just knew he was going to be huge, and was so excited about him. I can imagine the fight that the major labels must have had to secure him and Akon the Convict won (although his label is in conjunction with Interscope)!! Coby is, of course, featured in the bridge of label-mate Lady Gaga’s hit ‘Just Dance’, but here’s some of the material he also released last September from his debut album ‘Colby O’:

‘Dont Turn Back’

My Fav...'So Beautiful’ with Akon...listen out for Coby’s backing vocals and lead on the second verse!

Sorry guys, I was so excited that I had to tell you all about CHRIS CORNELL whilst I’m here. This is what happens when I’m gone too long...there’s too much to say mayn! Not sure if you know who he is, but Chris Cornell was the lead singer and songwriter of rock bands SoundGarden and Audioslave back in the 90s....and guess who he’s been working with? Yep...Timberland (of course)! Timbo’s produced his new album, ‘Scream’, set for release early this year. I heard Chris’ debut single ‘Part of Me’ a few days ago, and knew it was going to be huge! I think it sounds a bit ‘Prince-ish’ mixed with some Maroon 5 melodies...Unfortunately the video hasn’t been released yet, but as soon as it is...Hustle ‘Ard will bring it to you!
