Being very kind he offered to pose so we could snap pictures of his look. The bow tie is an endangered timepiece of men’s accessories, we hardly see men wearing the bow tie as many are opting for comfort rather then donning the bow. Nike iD have set a challenge to find the best shoe designs from the East & West Coast of America. Entrants had to travel to either the Mercer or Montalbán stores to register and submit their designs with 32 entrants going through to the elimination stages. All participants receive goodies dependent on when they are eliminated, receiving gifts from vouchers, $300 worth of Nike Sportswear Clothing to having shoes designed for themselves and 4 friends! The winner receives $1000 shopping spree and designed kicks.

Vans don’t disappoint again with its Peacoat inspired Chukka. Loving the inclusion of a button which with the Melton Wool upper both illustrate reference to its inspiration. Definitely another must have for me when the chilly season lands.
Super Car manufactures Ferrari and Lamborghini have always given us more products than just their high performance vehicles with the branded Coffee Makers, Bluetooth Earpieces and Perfumes to name a few. Based on the classic trainer that was popular back in the 60’s, Puma has re-released the Roma Fader trainer in two new colourways, I’ve always been partial to the Puma Roma’s and these are no different. Using gradient colours, the new trainers come right in time with the arrival of spring. Personally I wouldn’t be lacing my kicks up like that, but I love the flavor!

I came across a designer named Darren Romanelli aka Dr Romanelli. After seeing the Nike Swoosh on the garment a looked down at the price and i nearly fell of my chair...nah, i seriously nearly dropped my Mango Rubicon (would have been pissed) over my keyboard and fell on the floor for true !
The dudes recyled/reconstructed Nike garments are currently fetching between £1498 - £1640 as he reserects old pieces and injects life into them with the addition of leather panels and trims.

We posted earlier about a series of trainers being designed by Kanye West in collaboration with the fashion house Louis Vuitton. The US rapper took a major stride in the fashion industry yesterday (22nd Jan), with the unveiling of a pair of trainers designed in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. The bright red shoes, which are due for release in June, were the centerpiece of the Louis Vuitton autumn collection at Paris Fashion Week.
Unlike most trainers, the shoe's design features an exaggerated quilted flap at the back, which makes it easier to tuck trousers into. Kanye wore a pair as he watched the show from the front row.
He told the LA Times that the experience of seeing his own design on the runway was “overwhelming”.
"I've wanted to be a fashion designer my entire life," he said. "And to see my stuff in the Vuitton show was something else. It was a dream come true."
The trainer on show at Fashion Week is one in a line of five that West has designed for Louis Vuitton.
For me, Vans are killing it when it comes to callabo's at the moment. I was impressed with the Crooks x Vans and Vans x Proper packs and again, this one is another hit!
The self proclaimed Louis Vuitton Don, Mr Kanye West has finally got together with fashion house Louis Vuitton to produce six trainer designs. I’m feeling the first design, I especially like the clean cut look, however the sole at the front of the trainer looks a bit thick.
I know it’s a time of festivities and happiness, but recently I’ve been feeling slightly gloomy... If I’m honest, things have been getting on top of me lately, and the stress levels are slowly increasing! I often feel like I’ve started too much too early – and these thoughts are strengthened by the fact that not many of my female peers are following similar paths... Where are all the female entrepreneurs? Most ladies that I come across are completely satisfied with a 9 to 5, and there’s nothing wrong with that; except in today’s terrible economic climate it would be wise to secure assets or finances that you can depend on, and broaden your horizons!
I don’t really see any young ladies my age that I can look up to for inspiration, but then I came across...VASHTIE!
She’s probably most famous for being producer and artist Pharell Williams’ ex-girlfriend, but Vashtie is an inspiration and role-model in her own right. She’s four years older than me (24), and has done so much in the short time she’s been in the ‘entrepreneurial game’ so to speak! Her interests originate from fine art, but her love for fashion has pushed her into a wide range of lucrative business channels – directing music videos, creating clothing lines, and events management just to name a few. And she does it all with extraordinary swag!
What I love the most about her is she’s very low-key about everything – no-one would have known she’s responsible for running a major weekly New York hip-hop party with Q-Tip, and she’s taking it worldwide! Here's a video of her weekly party 1992, which looks wicked by the way!
Vashtie provides a huge amount of encouragement for me, particularly since she thrives in the type of industries I’m trying to get into; and we all know how difficult the entertainment game can be! Females really need more role-models like this.
Oh yeah (sorry I’m writing a lot in this blog! Bare with me) I actually didn’t know this but Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and Pharell recently formed a supergroup called CHILD REBEL SOLDIER. Their debut single is called ‘US Placers’, which features Thom Yorke, lead singer of Radiohead, who sings the indie band’s signature chorus from their song ‘The Eraser’.
