Fonteau goes by the artistic name of SOULTROPIC, and is based in the French West Indies, Martinique.
Below are a series of photographs he took documenting the general strike in Martinique. During this historical movement, everything comes to a halt for the duration of the strike; that has been ongoing for the past four weeks, and he thinks, may end today.
