Beyoncé Knowles has been selected to perform at president-elect Barack Obama's inaugural concert at Washington D.C.'s Lincoln Memorial this Sunday, titled "We Are One". The event which is free to the public is set to be screened by HBO who will televise the two hour show. The concert will also see stars like Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Bono, will.i.am, Sheryl Crow, Mary J Blige and many more perform on the night along with historic passages read by Denzel Washington, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, and Martin Luther King III.
Many other events are planed to take place in celebration of Obama's Inauguration in and around the D.C. area with Sheryl Crow and The Beastie Boys headlining a "Hey, America Feels Kinda Cool Again" event and "An Evening with Jay Z" scheduled for the Monday.
