Arab Money

Last summers transfer window saw Robinho make his much publicised move from Real Madrid to Chelsea Man City on deadline day for £32.5m. The Manchester club where also rumoured to have tabled a late bid for Dimitar Berbatov who was already at advanced stages with there local rivals.

With all clubs aware that the new owners of the blue half of Manchester have the 'cash monies' to give current boss Mark Hughes blank cheques to attempt the worlds best players, rumours broke this morning of Man City representatives in Milan trying to broker a deal of £100m for the 2007 World Player of the Year Kaka. The deal is reportedly to include a weekly wage of £500,000. That’s £2m a month!!!

Kaka is undoubtedly one of the best players on the planet but to offer him such huge wages is ridiculous!

Thoughts?
